BEI Commentary: CMS has announced Aug 22 – 26 as National 5010 Testing Week.  We encourage everyone to get on board.

We have been encouraging vendors, billing services, clearinghouses and providers to test early and test often to validate that you are ready to bill using 5010. To support the testing efforts, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) has announced that all Medicare Administrative Contractors (MACs) will host a national testing week from August 22-26, 2011.

You do not need to wait until National Testing Week to test version 5010, nor do you need to test again if you have already successfully tested.
